Boys and Girls JV and Varsity Soccer Win Big !!

Tonight was a big night for Southside Soccer as both varsity teams came away with 9+ goal differentials against their opponents, Anniston High School! 🐾⚽️GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER⚽️🐾CONGRATULATIONS to the Girls Varsity Soccer Team for their 10-0 win over Anniston High School. Alexis Thompson led the Panthers with 4 goals, Makayla Moore and Grasyn Carter added


The Boys soccer team went undefeated to win the 2019 Golden Goal Invitational Tournament .  The Panthers shut out all competition while scoring 33 goals.   Koen De Hullu was voted to the All-tournament team while Miguel Alvarez, the Center Back for the Panthers, was voted Tournament MVP. Pre-Season Soccer Camp a Success

This Saturday, the Southside High School soccer teams welcomed over 50 young players from at least 4 organizations to the pitch at Barney Hood Stadium.  Players were aged 4-12 and represented the Coosa League, Coosa United, EYSA, RUSH, and Fusion.  The Girls and Boys High School teams served as coaches and mentors for the camp.

The Southside Boy’s soccer team had their first ever summer tryout this week at Vivian Maddox Park.  33 attended the camp in over 90 degree weather in hopes of securing a spot on either the Varsity or Junior Varsity programs for the 2019 season.  The Panthers under new coach Randy Vice went 9-9-1 and tied

Boys Soccer Hosts Summer Soccer Slam

The Boys Soccer team will be hosting the 1st Annual Rainbow City Summer Slam on Saturday,June 9th at Rainbow Middle School. Ft. Payne and Sylvania will be bringing two rosters to compete in this summer play date along with the Southside Varsity and J.V. Squads. Southside will have a team composed primarily of younger playersas


Both JV Soccer teams went undefeated on the weekend ! Due to the points system in place, both teams played for 3rd Place and won decisive victories. Well Done Coach Garcia, Coach Bowling, and the entire team(s).


JV TEAMS EXCEL IN ROME TOURNAMENT: The Southside Lady Panthers finished 2nd out of 10 teams with a 2-1 record in the Invitational JV Tournament sponsored by Coosa High School in Rome, Georgia .The Panthers defeated Bremen 3-0, Trion 2-1, and fell to Calhoun 1-0 in the last minute of the game.
