Panthers Varsity Track & Field Members Advance To The State Meet

The Southside Panther boys and girls track team competed in the Class 6A Section 4 track meet this past Friday and Saturday at Ft. Payne High School. This sectional track meet included 14 other 6A schools from around the state. The track team will be taking 14 athletes to the state meet this week in Gulf Shores. Nick Shirley

Just Keep Running….Track Team Update

On April 3rd the junior varsity track team competed at the Aggie JV Invitational. This meet was for junior varsity teams grades 7th -10th. Panthers Track Team Racing To The Finish Line

Southside’s Track Team competed in the track meet at Gadsden City High School on Thursday, March 15th.  Nick Shirley placed 1st out of 37 participants in the Boys Javelin Throw. Southside Track and Field is Off to a Great Start

Friday, March 2nd, Nick Shirley, Kenneth Bothwell, and Macie Williams competed in a track meet held by Oxford High School at  Choccolocco Park. Seventeen other teams competed at this meet. Presley Johnson, Bryant-Jordan Scholar Athlete Regional Recipient Congratulations to Southside High School Senior, Presley Johnson for being selected at the Class 6A, Region 7 Regional Bryant-Jordan Scholar Athlete Recipient. Prelsey will attend the Bryant-Jordan Awards Banquet, Monday April 9th in Birmingham. The Scholar-Athlete Award honors high school seniors who are both superior athletes and outstanding students.
