Southside defeats Hokes Bluff 9-1 to claim their 8th straight Etowah County Baseball Championship! Next up, 1st round of the AHSAA baseball playoffs. The quest for a State Championship begins on Thursday April 16th.

Young Panther Tennis Squads Compete At Sectionals

The 2015 Southside tennis teams competed at 2015 Class 7A, Section 8, tennis tournament, hosted by Albertville High School. After the girls tournament was rained out on Monday, the boys and girls tournament were combined on Tuesday. The rain held off, and the weather was tolerable. Girls Tennis Finish Strong Going Into Sectionals.

The Varsity Girls Tennis team defeated Jacksonville High School 5-4 in tennis action on Thursday night. The match was held at Jacksonville State University. The girls will travel to Albertville next Monday to compete in the Regional Tournament. Good Luck Girls!

Baseball Moves Up In Rankings, and Clinches the Area
