Panthers News · A Night of Firsts for Southside Soccer

Tonight was a night of firsts for Southside Soccer. The Boys and Girls teams opened against Hokes Bluff  marking the first time two Etowah County School system Varsity teams have played against each other in the regular season. This was also the first time on our new campus field. The boys were led by freshmen Caleb Ogle (3 Goals), Sophomore Brandon Ayala (2 goals and 2 assists), Junior Micah Sitz (2 goals), Junior Bo Parker 1 goal, and Senior David Brackett 1 assist. Junior Keeper Jake Bell had 5 saves in the 8-0 hard fought shutout. The Lady Panthers won 10-0. The Panthers host 5A #1 ranked Indian Springs Monday evening at 7 pm.
