Braxton Light, former Southside High School Baseball Player, Class of 2015, selected in the 2017 MLB amateur draft in the 24th round by The Cubs. Braxton played two years at Wallace Hanceville Junior College. Congratulations Braxton!

Southside Wins Battle of the Panthers, Advances to State Championship Game

Congratulations to the Southside Lady Panthers Soccer team for a HUGE win over Pell City 8-0 in the AHSAA Semifinal Soccer Game!  Southside has now advanced and will play for the AHSAA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP Saturday, May 13 at 10:00 am vs. Chelsea in Huntsville at John Hunt Park. GO PANTHERS!!!!!!

Girls Soccer – Final Four!!!!!!!

Congratulations to our Girls Soccer Team as they defeated Decatur 3-1 in the AHSAA quarterfinals, advancing them to the Semifinals. We will face Pell City Friday, May 12th in Huntsville at 9:00 am. The game will be played at John Hunt Park.  The State Championship game will be played Saturday. Go Panthers!!!
